By filing this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for following reliefs:-- i. “For issuance of a writ(s)/direction(s)/order(s) in the nature of mandamus or appropriate nature commanding upon the respondent authorities to immediately take necessary actions for the mutation of the land of the petitioner which is again and again being rejected by the respondent no.2 for the inappropriate reasons well known to him only. ii. And for issuance of writ(s)/direction (s)/order(s) in the nature of mandamus upon the respondent no.3 to immediately initiate appropriate actions against respondent no.2 for rejecting again and again the mutation application of the petitioner’s land which is petitioner’s property for inappropriate reasons and harassing the petitioner intentionally for no fault on her part.” 3. From the aforesaid prayers, it is clear that the petitioner is infact challenging the order by which mutation application is rejected. 4. The learned counsel for the State submits, that against the order of mutation there is provision of appeal under Section 15 of the Bihar Tenants Holding (Maintenance of Records) Act, 1973. 5. Considering the aforesaid submission and the fact that statutory alternative remedy of appeal is available to the petitioner, I am not inclined to entertain this writ petition. The petitioner is directed to approach before Land Reform Deputy Collector by filing an appropriate application. 6. Accordingly, the instant writ petition stands disposed of. (ANANDA SEN, J.) Anjali/-
