Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, on written instructions, submits that both the parties in Crime No.49 of 2023 of Bapatla Town Police Station, vide CC No.751 of 2024 on the file of the learned Additional Junior Civil Judge, Bapatla, have compromised the matter before the Lok Adalat and the accused were acquitted of the charges under Section 498-A read with 34 IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act on 13.12.2025 and, in view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in the Criminal Petition and the matter has become infructuous. 3. Recording the said submission, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
