Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader. 3. Ms. V. Padmaja, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that even though the petitioner has submitted a complaint dated 23.02.2026 disclosing the commission of a cognizable offence, the police have not registered a case. 4. Sri P. Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader, on written instructions, submits that the complaint of the petitioner has been registered as a case in Crime No.108 of 2026 for the offences punishable under Sections 118(1) and 318(4) of ‘the BNSS’, and that the investigation is in progress. 5. Considering the entire facts and circumstances of the case, and recording the submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the Investigating Officer to take the investigation to its logical end, in accordance with law. 3 Dr. YLR, J W.P.No.8818 of 2026 Dated 06.04.2026 6.
