Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are in custody for 1 year and 8 months and only 1 witness till date has been examined and the cross- examination of PW 2 is deferred on the prayer of the accused persons.
Learned advocate for the petitioners additionally submits that there has been no recovery from the present petitioners and they have been falsely implicated in the instant case. There are also no documents which have been supplied to the accused persons which would reveal the complicity of the present petitioners.

Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the recovery was from different persons. The present petitioners have been charged for supply of arms, there are call data records of the present petitioners who are residents of Bihar. There are C.C.T.V. footages also which support the prosecution case. A report has been submitted by the State also which reflects that the prosecution has decided to reduce the number of witnesses from 60 to 25 more.
In view of the aforesaid, an opportunity should be granted to the prosecution. Accordingly, prosecution is directed to put in efforts for substantial progress of the case, particularly the necessary witnesses should be completed within the next 6 months.
At this stage, after considering the gravity of the offence, the prayer for bail of the petitioners in CRM (M) 284 of 2026 is refused.
Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.
