District- Dhamtari (CG). By the impugned award the learned Tribunal has awarded Rs. 1,52,171/- in favour of the appellant/claimant HIFZURRAHMAN ANSARI Digitally signed by HIFZURRAHMAN ANSARI Date: 2026.05.05 17:01:36 +0530 2 as compensation on account of grievous injuries received by him which took place on 31.03.2022 by the rash and negligent driving of respondent no. 1/driver of the offending vehicle i.e. Eicher bearing registration No. C.G-08-L-2476. 3) Learned counsel for the appellant submits that the amount awarded by learned tribunal is on the lower side which may be suitable enhanced. 4) Learned counsel for the respondent No. 3 supports the award and submits that just compensation has been awarded. 5) I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 6) On perusal of record & evidence available, this Court deems it fit to award further sum of Rs. 25,000/- to make the compensation just. 7) Respondent No. 3 is directed to deposit an additional sum of Rs. 25,000/- within a period of 60 days from today. 8) Appeal thus allowed in part.
