Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs. “10.1 Issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment to the post of Zila Sainik Welfare Officer (ZSWO). 10.2 Issue writ of mandamus directing the respondents to reserve one seat till the final disposal of the case. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that at this stage he is not pressing writ petition on merits and only seeking direction to be issued to Respondent No. 3 to consider the representation submitted by petitioner vide Annexure P-8 dated 25.02.2026, at the earliest within specified time. 3. Learned counsel for the respective respondents submit that as the petitioner is not pressing this writ petition on merits and only seeking direction to the concerned authority for taking decision on the pending representation, they are having no objection. 4. On due consideration of submission made by learned counsel for respective parties, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of directing Respondent No. 3 to consider and take decision on the representation submitted by petitioner, Annexure P-8 dated 25.02.2026, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of 02 weeks from the date of receipt of the order passed by this Court. 5.
