The petitioners have preferred this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking following reliefs :- “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire records pertaining to the petitioners' case for its kind perusal. 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ, direction, order directing the respondent No.4 to disburse the award amount of the petitioners as per award passed by him. 10.3 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ, direction, order directing the respondent No.4 to direct the concerned Tahsildar, Bilaspur to demarcate the land of the petitioners as per application made by the petitioners and to submit the report before the respondent No.4. 10.4 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ, direction, order directing the respondent No.4 and revenue authority to consider the application of the petitioners regarding the disbursement of award amount as 3 prayed by them. 10.5 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief in favour of the petitioners, which deemed fit & just in the interest of justice.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that, petitioners are recorded owners of land bearing Khasra No. 110/8 area 0.54 dismil situated at village Sirgitti, PH No. 41, Tahsil and District Bilaspur, which has been acquired for construction of railway over bridge, to which, award Annexure P-3 22-6-2020 was passed, thereafter supplementary award Annexure P-4 dated 13-6-2021 has been passed by respondent No. 4, but no compensation has been paid to them. He further submits that, petitioners filed an application for disbursement of award and as per direction of respondent No. 4, they also filed an application for demarcation of aforesaid land, to which, the respondent No. 4/Tahsildar, Bilaspur also constituted a team of revenue officers vide order Annexure P-10 dated 12-11-2025 and the Revenue Inspector issued notice Annexure P-11 dated 5-1-2026, despite that, demarcation has not been carried out. Therefore, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that, at this stage, this petition may be disposed of directing respondent No. 5 to get demarcated the subject land within stipulated period. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents have no objection to allow aforesaid limited prayer. 4. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 4 5. It is sorry state of affair that, the respondent No. 5/Tahsildar, Bilaspur has constituted a team of revenue officers order vide Annexure P-10 dated 12-11-2025, despite that, demarcation has not been carried out, therefore, respondents No. 4 and 5 are directed to get demarcated the subject land of the petitioners in accordance with law within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6. Respondents No. 1 to 3 are also directed to keep present the representatives of South Eastern Central Railway, Bilaspur/ respondents No. 1 to 3 at the time of demarcation of subject land. In other words, the respondent No. 4 is directed to issue notice to respondent No. 3/Dy. Chief Engineer (Survey and Construction), South Eastern Central Railway, Bilaspur directing him / his representative to remain present at the time of demarcation. 7.
