Since both the appeals arise out of common judgment and decree dated 22.01.2025 passed by the First Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Bilaspur, District Bilaspur in Civil Suit No. 655A/2018, they are clubbed together, heard together and are being disposed of by this common order. 2. Both the parties are present in person before this Court. 3. FA (MAT) No.83/2025 has been preferred by the husband questioning the decree as well as permanent alimony granted to wife by the First Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Bilaspur, District Bilaspur vide judgment and decree dated 22.01.2025 in Civil Suit No. 655A/2018, whereas FA(MAT)/77/2025 has been preferred by the wife against the decree of divorce for dissolution of marriage dated 30.01.2015 granted to the husband. 3 4. As per order of the learned Family Court concerned, the husband has to pay Rs.10,00,000/- as permanent alimony to the wife. 5. Learned counsel for the parties submit that the matter has been settled between the parties by undergoing mediation at Mediation Centre, High Court of Chhattisgarh, Bilaspur on 10.02.2026 and in compliance of the same, the husband is ready to hand over the Demand Draft for Rs. 32,00,000/- to wife and wife is ready to accept the same. The wife is directed to submit the acknowledgment of receiving Demand Draft for Rs. 32,00,000/- handed over by the husband. 6. Accordingly, the FA (MAT) No.83/2025 filed by the husband is dismissed in terms of the settlement letter dated 10.02.2026 and in light of the acknowledgment for receiving Demand Draft for Rs. 32,00,000/- handed over by the husband. Consequently, FA(MAT)/77/2025 preferred by the wife is allowed partly, as she has readily accepted the Demand Draft for Rs. 32,00,000/- handed over by the husband by acknowledging the same. Mediation report be made part of decree. 7. Thus, FA(MAT)No.83/2025 filed by the husband is dismissed and FA(MAT)No.77/2025 filed by the wife is partly allowed. 8. Decree be drawn accordingly.
