HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ANAND SHARMA Order 13/03/2026 1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to advertisement issued by the respondent-Rajasthan Staff Selection Board for recruitment on the post of Class IV Employee, the petitioner submitted her application on 28.03.2025. As on that day, petitioner’s husband was alive, therefore, the petitioner filled her status as married. However, thereafter, unfortunately, husband of the petitioner expired on 21.06.2025. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the writ petition. 3. This Court finds that in the entire writ petition, the petitioner has not pleaded that at any point of time, she applied for rectification of her category before the Respondent-Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, nor has she placed any such document on record. However, in the interest of justice, this Court deems it just and proper to dispose of this writ petition by granting liberty to the petitioner to make a representation before the respondent along with death certificate of her deceased husband and in case any such representation is made, the same shall be considered and decided by the respondents by passing speaking order within a period of 15 days from the date of submission of representation along with certified copy of this order. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not commented upon merits of the case. 6. Writ petition is disposed of accordingly. 7. Pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.
