Heard Mr. Basu, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. Behera, learned counsel for Transport Authorities. 2. Admittedly the Petitioner is a defaulter in payment of the M.V. tax and penalty in respect of vehicle bearing registration No.OSB- 1592 and for said reason his other vehicle bearing registration No.OD- 01-AR-4084 was seized and attached to recover the tax amount, as per the amount mentioned in Annexure-3. 3. Mr. Basu, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits in course of hearing that he is ready and willing to deposit 50% of the aforesaid amount immediately and further, he may be granted three weeks time to deposit rest 50% amount. 4. It is made clear that if the Petitioner fails to make deposit the rest amount within the time stipulated, the authorities are at liberty to proceed against the petitioner by attaching the same again. 6.
