Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 22.05.2026 in connection with ACB RanchiP.S. Case No. 11 of 2026 for the offences registered under Section 7(a) of the Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act, 2018, pending in the court of learned Special Judge, Anti Corruption Bureau, Ranchi. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is working in the Home Guard Office, Simdega as a Home Guard and it is alleged that he was demanding Rs.7,000/- as bribe for allocating the duty and he has been trapped red handed with bribe money. The petitioner is in custody since 22.05.2026. He submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case and the petitioner has no role in the matter of allocation of duty. 4. The learned counsel for the opposite party-State has opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that the petitioner was caught red handed with bribe money after due verification and as per the procedure and chargesheet has also not yet been submitted. 5. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and considering the fact that the petitioner was apprehended with bribe 2 money this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. 6. However, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after three months. 7.
