JUSTICE SHIVASHANKAR AMARANNAVAR ORAL ORDER This petition is filed under Section 439(1)(b) of Cr.P.C. read with Section 483(1)(b) of BNSS praying to modify condition No.1 imposed in the order dated 24.02.2026 passed in Crl.P.No.942/2026. 2. The petitioner has been granted bail in Crl.P.No.942/2026, subject to following conditions: I. Petitioner shall execute personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- with two sureties for the likesum to the satisfaction of the jurisdictional Court. II. Petitioner shall not tamper the prosecution witnesses either directly or indirectly. III. Petitioner shall attend the trial Court on all dates of hearing unless exempted and cooperate for speedy disposal of the case. IV. Petitioner shall not involve in commission of any offence. If the petitioner is found involved in commission of any offence, prosecution is at - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:25762 CRL.P No. 5909 of 2026 liberty to seek for cancellation of bail granted to him. 3. Petitioner is seeking modification of condition No.1. Learned counsel for the petitioner has sought modification of furnishing two sureties for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/-, by furnishing cash surety for the likesum. The said modification is sought on the ground that the said condition is causing undue hardship. Accepting the same, condition No.1 is modified. The petitioner shall furnish cash security of Rs.1,00,000/- instead of furnishing two sureties for Rs.1,00,000/- each. Accordingly, petition is allowed in the above terms.
