For the respondents: Mr. Raman Jamalta, Advocate. Jiya Lal Bhardwaj , Judge (Oral) Notice. Mr. Raman Jamalta, learned counsel, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents. 2. The petitioner by way of present petition has prayed for following substantive relief:- “i That respondent may kindly be directed to consider the case of the petitioners for regularization /work charge status after completion of 8 years w.e.f 01.01.1996 with all consequential benefits.” 3. Keeping in view the order proposed to be passed in the present petition, no reply is sought from the respondents. 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 4. As per the averments made in the writ petition, the petitioner is seeking regularization/ work charge status after completion of 8 years service w.e.f. 01.01.1996, with all consequential benefits. The petitioner has already made a representation dated 15.04.2026 (Annexure P-3), which is pending adjudication before the respondents. 5. Since the representation made by the petitioner has not been decided by the respondents, this Court is of the considered view that before passing the order on merits, let the decision be taken on the said representation made by the petitioner. 6. Consequently, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents-Corporation to decide the representation made by the petitioner dated 15.04.2026 ( Annexure P-3), within two months from today. Needless to say that in case the decision goes against the petitioner, he shall be at liberty to take appropriate remedy in accordance with law.
