For the O.P. : A.P.P. --- 02/02.04.2026 Heard Mr. Nandan Prasad, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Tisri P.S. Case No. 83 of 2025. The petitioner is alleged to have sexually exploited the daughter of the informant on the pretext of marriage as a result of which, she had become pregnant and abortion was done twice. On account of the act of the petitioner, the victim had become mentally unstable and also tried to commit suicide. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the victim as well as the informant have been examined in course of trial and both have been declared hostile. It has been submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 16.09.2025. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the fact that the victim has been declared hostile in course of trial, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, POCSO Act, Giridih in connection with Tisri P.S.
