KAMAL - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:26068 WP No. 1208 of 2022 ORAL ORDER Petitioners embroiled in an ongoing matrimonial dispute between petitioner No.5 and respondent No.4, including dispute with regard to custody of the petitioner No.4 are before this Court alleging inaction on the part of the respondent-authorities on their complaints dated 25.06.2021. 15.07.2021, 20.09.2021 and 10.11.2021. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that after filing of the petition, certain developments have taken place in that the derogatory posts which are hosted on the website by the respondent No.4 have been taken down. However, the grievance of the petitioner regarding respondents-authorities not initiating the action sought for still subsists, therefore, seeks for necessary directions. 3. Learned AGA at this juncture brings to the notice of this Court, the endorsement dated 01.10.2021 as per Annexure-K produced by the petitioner and submits that despite requisitioning the petitioners to appear for enquiry, they have remained absent and therefore the complaint given by them have been closed. As such, no inaction on the part of - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:26068 WP No. 1208 of 2022 the respondent-authorities can be attributed. He submits if the petitioners have any grievance they can always avail the remedy as provided under the relevant provisions of law. 4. Though the petitioners have made allegations regarding inaction on the part of the respondent-Human Rights Commission, learned counsel appearing respondent No.1- Commissioner submits unless the law as sought to be set in motion is proceeded further, there appears to be no cause of action for it to intervene at this juncture. 5. Since the complaint given by the petitioner has been closed as per the endorsement dated 01.10.2021, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty to avail remedy available under the relevant provisions of law. 6.
