Topno, A.P.P. ------ 04/ 02.07.2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P for the State. 2. The petitioner is apprehending her arrest in connection with Rikhiya P.S. Case No. 05 of 2024, registered for the offence under Sections 272, 273 and 290 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 47(a) of Jharkhand Excise Act, pending in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Deoghar. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner happened to be the owner of a vehicle and allegations are made of carrying illicit liquor on the said vehicle. He next submits that the said vehicle was being driven by the driver. 4. Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State has opposed the prayer and submits that the allegations are there of carrying illicit liquor in absence of any valid papers. 5. Considering that the petitioner is the owner of the vehicle in question and further the vehicle was being driven by the driver and in the attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to [ 2026:JHHC:19353] -2- extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the above-named petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned Court within three weeks from today and in the event of her arrest or surrender, she shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Deoghar, in connection with Rikhiya P.S.
