3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submit that during the pendency of this petition, both the parties have entered into compromise and they have settled the land dispute amicably. Counsel submits that after compromise in the matter, on 15.12.2025, both the parties filed an application before the trial court to drop the criminal proceedings pending against the petitioner before it in pursuance to the impugned FIR. Counsel submits that on the same day, the trial Court partly accepted the said application and attested the compromise only to the extent of offence punishable under Sections 406 & 420 of IPC and refused to accept the compromise for offences under Sections 467, 468 & 471 of IPC as the same are not compoundable.
4. In these circumstances, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of this petition to quash the FIR along with consequential criminal proceedings on the ground that the parties have resolved their dispute amicably.
5. Considering the submissions made on behalf of the respective parties; the material made available for my perusal and the fact that the parties have resolved the dispute amicably and the present case is wholly covered by the principle of law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Gian Singh Vs. State of Punjab & Anr-reported in 2012 Cr.L.J. (SC) 4934 and in the case of State of Haryana & Ors. Vs. Choudhary Bhajan Lal & Ors. [AIR 1992 SC 604], the aforesaid FIR along with consequential criminal proceedings is liable to be quashed in view of compromise arrived at between the parties.

6. In view of the above, this Criminal Misc. Petition is allowed and the impugned FIR No.288/2018 registered at Police Station Sadar Alwar, District Alwar for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 471, 468 & 406 of IPC along with consequential criminal proceedings pending in the Court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate No.1, Alwar, Raj. in Criminal Case No.170/2025 is quashed and set aside.
