The petitioner has preferred this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for direction to the respondent No. 2/ Tehsildar, Tahsil Basna, Distt. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that, the petitioner filed an application under Sections 109 and 110 of the CG Land Revenue Code, 1959 before the respondent No. 2/ Tahsildar, Basna, Distt. Mahasamund for mutation of land bearing Khasra No. 252/4 area 0.493 hectare situated at village Bhanwarpur, PH No. 21, Tahsil Basna, District Mahasamund, to which aforesaid revenue case has been registered, but even after lapse of more than 4 ½ years, same has not been decided. Hence he prays that, the respondent No. 2 be directed to decide aforesaid revenue case within stipulated period. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the State submitted that, aforesaid revenue case shall be decided within 30 days. 4. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 5. It is very sorry state of affair that, even after lapse of 4 ½ years, the respondent No. 2/Tahsildar, Basna has not decided the said revenue case, therefore, having considered the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is disposed of at this stage, directing the respondent No. 2/ Tahsildar, Basna to decide the Revenue Case No. 202108120900078/ A-6/2020-2021 as early as possible preferably within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this 3 order. 6.
