This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India with the following prayers:- “(i) Expedite the proceedings of suit no.336 of 2019 pending before the learned Civil Judge (S.D.), Roorkee, District Haridwar as expeditiously as possible or within the time framed by the Hon’ble Court. (ii) Issue any other order or direction which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case. (iii) Award cost of the petition.” 2. Heard Mrs. Indu Sharma, learned counsel for 1 2026:UHC:2445 the petitioner – plaintiff. 3. Mrs. Indu Sharma, Advocate, appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has filed the Suit No.336 of 2019 for specific performance. The said case has been pending since 2019, while issue no. 3 and issue no. 4 have not been decided yet. 4. Having heard, the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), Roorkee, District Haridwar is directed to make an endeavour to decide the Suit No.336 of 2019 as expeditiously as possible, as per law, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to the parties. 5.
