This Hon'ble Court may be pleased to call for the records from the respondents concerned pertaining to the case of the Digitally signed by AJINKYA PANSARE Date: 2026.03.24 14:23:07 +0530 2 petitioner for perusal of this Hon'ble Court, if this Hon'ble Court thinks fit in the facts and circumstances of the case. b. This Hon'ble Court may be pleased to pass an order quashing the order dated 17.2.2021 passed by the respondent No.2 being illegal, arbitrary and not sustainable in law in the facts and circumstances of the case. c. This Hon'ble Court may be pleased to pass an order quashing the charge sheet dated 24.2.2021 issued by the respondent No.2 in the interest of justice. d. Cost of the proceedings. e. Any other writs and directions that may be deemed fit and just in the facts & circumstances of case. 2) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is holding the post of Patwari under respondent-department and pursuant to complaint made by one Subhrat Gupta, petitioner has been placed under suspension and departmental inquiry has been initiated against him vide order dated 24.2.2021. He further submits that since then, suspension of petitioner has been revoked but departmental inquiry remains pending, therefore a direction may be issued to Sub-Divisional Officer (R), Raipur/ Inquiry Officer to conclude the departmental proceeding at the earliest. 3) On the other hand, learned State counsel would oppose. 4) I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 5) Taking into consideration the limited prayer made by Mr. Pandey, 3 this petition is hereby being disposed directing Sub-Divisional Officer (R), Raipur/ Inquiry Officer to conclude the departmental proceeding which remains pending since 24.2.2021, preferably within period of 180 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is also directed that in case petitioner moves application(s) for supply of relevant documents, Inquiry Officer shall provide all relevant documents available with it. 6) Accordingly, this petition stands disposed in above-stated terms.
