Mishra … for the respondents March 17, 2026 [SR] Item No.10 Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner’s application dated 17th June, 2024 submitted to the Electricity Department was never considered. On the other hand, Mr. S.C.Mishra, learned advocate appearing for the Electricity Department has submitted that pursuant to the order dated 10th February, 2025 passed in WPA/73/2025, the Electricity Department has considered the application wherein liberty was granted to the petitioner to submit a fresh application for new electricity connection in respect of the encroached land, subject to compliance with all conditions and requirement as mandated under clause 5.30 of the JERC Regulation, 2018 and the A & N Administration Circular dated 9th October, 2023. In view of the Electricity Department having passed the order in respect of the representation dated 17th June, 2024, I direct that, in case the petitioner is aggrieved or takes recourse in respect of the order which has been passed, the 2 petitioner will be at liberty to take such steps in accordance with law. With the above observations, WPA/120/2026 is disposed of. A copy of the order be handed over to the learned advocate for the petitioner in course of this day. ( Tirthankar Ghosh, J. )
