1. Exemption allowed, subject to all just exceptions.
2. The application stands disposed of.
W.P.(CRL) 2879/2026
1. The petitioner seems to have approached this Court on the purported settlement of the grievance between the petitioner’s nephew and his wife. The FIR in question seems to have been registered against the petitioner and other family members at the instance of wife of the petitioner’s nephew.
2. It is contended that the petitioner’s nephew and his wife are living together happily. In absence of there being any proper settlement, the FIR in question cannot be quashed on the ground of purported settlement. This is a digitally signed order. 3. It is, however, pointed out by Mr. Anand V. Khatri, leanred ASC for the State that the charge sheet was filed and thereafter, the matter seems to have been settled between husband and wife.
4. At this stage, the Court grants liberty to the petitioner to enter into a formal settlement or to make all his submissions at the stage of framing of charges before the concerned Court.
5. With these observations, the instant petition stands disposed of.
6. Needless to state that if the grievance of the petitioner is not fully mitigated, he shall be at liberty to take appropriate recourse in accordance with law.
