In this writ application, the petitioner has prayed for a direction upon the respondents to arrest the accused persons in connection with Gawan P.S. Case No. 53 of 1989. 3. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that most of the accused persons have been arrested and some have also been acquitted by the learned Trial Court. Learned counsel submits that one of the main accused, Chotan Pasi has not been apprehended by the Police. 4. Learned A.C. to S.C.-VI has submitted that so far as Chotan Pasi is concerned, he was said to be an employee of BCCL, but in the counter-affidavit BCCL has stated that no such person exists. Learned counsel submits that however endeavour is being taken to apprehend Chotan Pasi. 5. Regard being had to the chain of circumstances which have been depicted by the learned counsel for the petitioner, from which it appears that several of the accused persons have been arrested and some have already been acquitted, this writ application stands disposed of with a direction to Respondent No. 3 to make an endeavour to apprehend the prime accused Chotan Pasi. 6.
