This bail application has been filed on behalf of Sourav Choudhary who is in custody since 31.08.2025 in connection with Chutia P.S. Case No. 203 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 304(2), 303(2), 317(2), 317(5), 336(3), 340(2) and 112 of the BNS, 2023 pending in the Court of Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi is pressed into motion. As per the FIR, petitioner was apprehended along with three co-accused persons when the police party during general inspection signaled two persons on a motorcycle for search and interrogation. On the disclosure statement made by the co-accused persons, a raid was conducted and stolen mobile was seized from this petitioner. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that he has no criminal antecedent and he has been apprehended only on the basis of suspicion and principal accused person has already been granted bail by Co- ordinate Bench of this Court. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for bail. Under the circumstances, the above-named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty-Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
