Today this case is listed for orders on default. 2. Considering the submission made by learned counsel for applicants as also pleadings made in this application, the default(s) as pointed out by the Registry is overruled. 3. This MCC is filed seeking modification of order dated 09.01.2026 passed in WPS No. 154/2026 and extension of time to decide the appeal. 4. Learned counsel for applicants submits that inadvertently due to typographical error direction was issued to Respondent No. 1 to consider and PAWAN KUMAR JHA Digitally signed by PAWAN KUMAR JHA 2 / 2 take decision on the appeal submitted by non-applicant (petitioner therein), whereas the competent authority to consider and take decision on the appeal submitted by petitioner therein would be Respondent No. 2 therein and therefore, direction issued in paragraph-4 of the order dated 09.01.2026 in WPS No. 154/2026 be modified to Respondent No. 2 instead of Respondent No. 1. 5. Learned counsel for applicants next contended that as the period prescribed in the order for deciding the appeal was 45 days, it may also be extended for further 45 days from today. 6. On due consideration of the submission made by learned counsel for the respective parties, facts and circumstances of the case, direction issued in paragraph-4 of the impugned order be read as “this writ petition is disposed of directing Respondent No. 2” instead of “this writ petition is disposed of directing Respondent No. 1”. Further, the time prescribed of 45 days in the order for taking decision on the appeal submitted by petitioner therein is hereby extended to further 45 days, to be started from today. 7.
