1. Petitioner has filed this petition seeking following reliefs:
“10.1 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly directed the respondent to release and disburse the retiral dues Digitally signed by PRAVEEN KUMAR SINHA Date: 2026.03.24 10:44:04 +0530
2 / 2 payable to the petitioner with a interest of 12% from the dated of retirement till the date of payment of retiral dues 10.2 That, any other relief which this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper may also kindly be granted to the petitioner in the interest of justice along with cost of the petition”

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner stood retired from respondent -Department on 30.06.2024. However, till date retiral dues has not been disbursed in favour of petitioner and therefore this writ petition is filed.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that he has sought instructions in the matter and according to oral instructions given to him, claim of petitioner is in process of consideration and appropriate
order will be passed/decision will be taken at the earliest.

In view of submission of learned counsel for the respective parties, this writ petition is disposed of directing respondents to take decision on the claim of retiral dues of petitioner in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
