This writ petition has been preferred by the petitioner seeking employment from the respondent Company i.e. SECL in lieu of acquisition of petitioner’s land. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that his ancestral land bearing khasra No. 1406/3 admeasuring area 0.460 hectate (1.14 acres) situated at Village Chhal, Tahsil Dharamjaigarh, has been acquired by the SECL for the purposes of mining, however, he has not been granted employment in lieu of acquisition of the said land. 3. Learned counsel for respondents No. 2 to 4/SECL submits that respondents No. 2 to 4/SECL has already offered employment to the petitioner in lieu of acquisition of his land vide letters dated 04/07/2025 and 19/03/2026, however, the petitioner has not responded to the said letter. 3 4. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 5. In view of the statement made by learned counsel for respondents No. 2 to 4/SECL as well as the letters dated 04/07/2025 and 19/03/2026, the petitioner may respond to letter dated 19/03/2026 and submit necessary documents for his employment or he may respond to the letter dated 04/07/2025 and opt either for employment or for compensation. If petitioner responds to the said letters within one month from today, necessary order shall be passed by the SECL expeditiously. 6.
