The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Kowali P.S. Case No. 20 of 2026, registered for the offence under Sections 331(4), 305 and 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Jamshedpur.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner happened to be the Branch Manager of Nabfins Limited DL, Hata. She submits that one key of the locker was with the petitioner and another key was with one Ashish Thakur. She next submits that even the house of the petitioner was searched; however, nothing has been recovered and allegations are made of theft of Rs. 8,74,407/- from the said locker of the said company. She further submits that only on the basis of suspicion, the name of this petitioner has come. On these grounds, she submits that anticipatory bail may kindly be provided to the petitioner.

Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State has opposed the

prayer and submits that the petitioner was having one key of the locker.

Considering that there are two keys of the said locker and one was with Ashish Thakur and one was with this petitioner and the petitioner was said to be the Branch Manager of Nabfins Limited DL, Hata and upon search of the house of this petitioner, nothing has been recovered and in the attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the above-named petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned Court within three weeks from today and in the event of his arrest or surrender, he shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Jamshedpur, in connection with Kowali P.S. Case No. 20 of 2026, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
