Chandra Chooda, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, contended that Respondent No.1 – State has appointed an Administrator to the petitioner- Association without affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. Accordingly, he sought interference of this Court. 2. Per contra, learned Additional Government Advocate submits that, the impugned notice has been issued calling for the explanation as to the appointment of the Administrator and therefore, submitted that the writ petition is not maintainable. 3. Having taken note of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, the petitioner herein is assailing the notice dated 10.03.2026 (Annexure - O) wherein, the respondent No.1 - State has issued notice to the petitioner - Association, seeking an - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:17922 WP No. 9916 of 2026 explanation regarding the appointment of an Administrator under Section 27A of the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960. 4. In that view of the matter, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, it is open for the petitioner to file a detailed comprehensive reply to the notice dated 10.03.2026 and if such a reply is filed by the petitioner-Association within two (2) weeks from receipt of this order by the petitioner, the same shall be considered by respondent No.1 - State within two (2) months from the date of receipt of the reply that may be filed by the petitioner-Association. 5. It is also made clear that since the grievance of the petitioner-Association is that, they have not been heard in the matter, it is directed that till the consideration of the said reply that may be filed by the petitioner- Association, respondent No.1 - State shall not take any decision as to the appointment of the Administrator. - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:17922 WP No. 9916 of 2026 6.
