By this petition, petitioners herein are seeking direction upon respondent No.4 to act strictly in accordance with law as well as Government Order No. 183-JK (REV) of 2022 dated 18th of October, 2022 and register the lease deed executed by the petitioners with the management of the HDFC Bank. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the aforesaid government order carries a checklist (Annexure-A) which provides the list of documents required for registration of lease/rent. It is nowhere mentioned in the aforesaid government order that placing of a revenue extract with the lease deed for registration is mandatory, however, the respondent No.4 has reverted the document of the petitioners on the pretext that the same does not contain copy of the online Fard. It is further submitted that despite repeated requests and conveying the respondent No. 4 that placing a copy of Fard on record is not mandatory for the registration of lease deed as per the aforesaid government order, the respondent No. 4 has chosen not to register the lease deed. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners would feel satisfied in case the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 4 to adhere to the checklist of Government Order No. 183- JK (REV) of 2022 dated 18th of October, 2022 to consider the application of petitioners for registration of lease deed within a reasonable period of time. 4. Be that as it may, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4 to consider and decide the application of the petitioners for registration of lease deed, by strictly adhering to the checklist of Government Order No 183-JK (REV) of 2022 dated 18th of October, 2022, within a period of four weeks from the date of passing of this order. 5.
