By this application filed under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 the petitioner, namely, Ramesh @ Romesh Basumatary, who is in custody in connection with Sonari P.S. Case No. 116/2025, has prayed Page No.# 2/2 for release on bail. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has produced the Case Diary. I have gone through the materials available on record and it appears that the investigation is still going on. Having heard the learned counsel for both sides and considering entire aspect of the matter, this court is of the view that the petitioner does not deserve to be released on bail, at this stage.
