Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are the recorded Bhumiswami of land bearing Khasra No. 373/1, measuring 0.0040 hectares, situated in Village Kusmi, Tahsil Samri, District Balrampur-Ramanujganj. The petitioners filed an application before the Tahsildar, Kusmi, to demarcate the subject land in order to avoid any future disputes in respect of boundaries of the land. Subsequently, the Tahsildar passed an order dated 05.12.2025 (Annexure-P/3), directing the Revenue Inspector Kusmi and Patwari Kusmi to carry out the demarcation and submit a report before 24.12.2025. However, despite this order, the concerned Revenue Officers have failed to carry out the demarcation. The 3 petitioners thereafter submitted representations (Annexure-P/4) dated 10.02.2026 and 23.02.2026 to the Sub-Divisional Officer, Kusmi, and the Collector, Balrampur-Ramanujganj, respectively. However, despite these efforts, the demarcation proceedings have not yet concluded. Therefore, at this stage, the petitioners pray for a direction to the Revenue Authorities to comply with the order passed by the Tahsildar expeditiously. 3. Learned State counsel submits that the aforesaid order will be complied with expeditiously. 4. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents placed with the petition. 5. This is not the first case where, despite an order passed by the Tahsildar, subordinate officers and Revenue Authorities have failed to comply. Similar situations have been observed in many instances, and such conduct by the Authorities is not appreciated. In the present case also, the Tahsildar, Kusmi, vide order dated 05.12.2025 (Annexure-P/3), directed the Revenue Inspector and Patwari of Kusmi to conduct the demarcation and submit a report. However, even after the petitioners submitted representations to the SDO, Kusmi on 10.02.2026 and the Collector, Balrampur-Ramanujganj, on 23.02.2026, the representations remain undecided and the demarcation proceedings have not been completed. 6. Considering the aforesaid backdrop, the Collector, Balrampur- Ramanujganj, is directed to pass an appropriate order regarding the application submitted by the petitioner(s) on 23.02.2026 (Annexure-P/4). The Collector is further directed to ensure that the concerned Revenue 4 Authorities complete the demarcation of the subject land within 30 days from today and comply the order of Tahsildar Kusmi. 7. Learned State counsel is directed to apprise the concerned Collector and Authorities regarding this order forthwith. Sd/- (Naresh Kumar Chandravanshi) Judge Ajay
