JUSTICE JASMEET SINGH O R D E R % 14.09.2026 1. This is a petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers :- “A. Writ of Certiorari quashing the impugned emails dated 19.06.2024 vide which candidature of the Petitioners for EMRS Recruitment has been arbitrarily cancelled. B. Writ of Certiorari quashing/modifying any list of candidates for the purpose of joining to an extent that it does not contain the Name/Roll No. of the Petitioners. C. Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondent No.1 to treat the Petitioners as successful candidates in view of valid This is a digitally signed order. For the reasons stated in the petition, issue notice. 3. Mr. Jha, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of respondent No. 1 and Mr. Shukla, learned CGSC accepts notice on behalf of respondent No. 2. 4. My attention has been drawn to an order dated 04.08.2026, passed in W.P.(C) 12244/2025, wherein the Coordinate bench has directed the respondent No. 1 to consider the validity of the qualification of the candidates for appointment to the post of PGT teachers. 5. On the basis of parity, it is directed that respondent No. 1 shall consider the validity of the petitioners’ qualification for appointment to the post of PGT History and PGT Physics in the light of the judgment dated 04.08.2026 in W.P.(C) 12244/2025. 6. The exercise shall be conducted expeditiously and within a period of 6 weeks from today. 7. The respondent No. 1 shall decide the representation of the petitioners in accordance with law and extant rules and regulations. 8.
