The report of the Assistant Engineer, Contai Highway Sub-division, Public Works (Roads) Department dated 6th March, 2026 is taken on record. The learned advocate appearing for the State is directed to serve a copy of such report to the learned advocate for the petitioner and the private respondents in course of this day. In the said report it has been stated that the work of demarcation has been completed on 18th December, 2025. The report of the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer states that the private respondents have not encroached upon the PWD road. The sketch map is also appended to the report of the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer. Since upon demarcation it is found that there is no encroachment upon the PWD road, this Court is not inclined to grant any relief to the petitioner in this writ petition. With the above observations, WPA 25769 of 2025 stands disposed of. 2 There shall be however no order as to costs.
