The petitioner has filed the present petition impugning the order dated 27.05.2026 whereby the Tahsildar has been directed to seize and confiscate the petitioner’s unit located in Sy. Nos. 155 - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:26078-DB WP No. 16238 of 2026 and 169 of Nandikooru Village, Kaup Taluk and submit a compliance report. 3. The petitioner submits that the closure order dated 18.02.2026 for the closure of the said unit was passed by the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board. The said order was impugned in Writ Petition No. 6719/2026, which was disposed of by this Court by an order dated 08.04.2026. A plain reading of the said order indicates that the counsel appearing for the KSPCB submitted that, after the report is prepared by it, a show-cause notice would be issued and appropriate orders would be passed after considering the industry's response. 4. In view of the above, the closure order dated 18.02.2026 is not required to be implemented immediately. 5. The learned Additional Government Advocate submits that the concerned Tahsildar was not aware of the filing of the aforementioned Writ Petition and the order passed by this Court, as the State was not a party to the said Writ Petition. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:26078-DB WP No. 16238 of 2026 6. The learned counsel for the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board KSPCB states that the proceedings against the appellant are yet to be finalized. 7. In view of the above, the impugned order is set aside. The concerned authority shall take appropriate steps after the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board passes the final order. 8.
