Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 It is therefore prayed that, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire records pertaining to the case of the petitioner; 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased DEEPTI JHA Digitally signed by DEEPTI JHA 2 to issue a writ/order/direction in nature of mandamus whereby to direct to the respondent authorities to promote the petitioner on the post of Superintendent Engineer within stipulate time; 10.3 That the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ/order/direction in nature of mandamus whereby to direct to the respondent No.1 to decide the pending representation made by the petitioner for his claim for promotion to the post of Superintendent Engineer in accordance with law within a stipulated time; 10.4 That, any other relief/reliefs, which this Hon'ble Court may think fit and proper in the facts and circumstances fo the case, with cost of the petition, may also please be granted to the petitioner.” 2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner on completion of the requisite period on the post of Executive Engineer, he became eligible for promotion on the post of Superintendent Engineer. However, candidature of the petitioner has not been considered for promotion and other similarly placed employees has been promoted by the respondent authorities. Petitioner has submitted representation dated 11.08.2025 before the respondent No.1, which is pending consideration, therefore, direction be issued to respondent No.1 to consider and take decision on pending representation at the earliest within specified time frame. 3. Learned counsel for State submits that in view of limited prayer made by learned counsel for petitioner, she is having no objection. 4. On due consideration of the submission of learned counsel for the respective parties, nature of grievance raised, this writ petition is disposed of directing Respondent No.1 to consider and take decision on the pending representation dated 11.08.2025 of the petitioner, in accordance with law, expeditiously preferably within a further period of 3 months from the date of receipt of copy of order passed by this Court. 3 5. However, petitioner is at liberty to submit fresh representation before the respondent No.1, who shall consider and take decision on the same along with pending representation. 6.
