BLAPL No.1194 of 2026
Narendra Sahoo @ Sahu … Petitioner
None
-versus- State of Odisha … Opposite Party Mr. S.C. Pradhan, Addl. PP
CORAM: JUSTICE G. SATAPATHY
Order No.
ORDER(ORAL) : 19.05.2026
03.
1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).
2. None appears for the petitioner at the time of call, so also no one had appeared on the last occasion on 22.04.2026, but the learned State Counsel apprises this Court that 11 witnesses including the victim have already been examined and the victim has already been informed. Further, on the last occasion on 22.04.2026 one last chance was granted to the petitioner, but none has appeared for the petitioner today to avail such chance. It, therefore, presupposes that the petitioner is not interested to prosecute the matter.
3. Accordingly, the present bail application stands dismissed for non-prosecution. However, the petitioner is at liberty to revive this application by showing sufficient cause of non-appearance.
