1. Petitioner renews the prayer for bail.
2. Petitioner is in custody of 170 days.
3. There is a statement of eye witness recorded under Section 183 of the B.N.S implicating the petitioner in the murder of the victim.
4. Post-mortem report of the victim corroborates the version of such eye witness. Post-mortem report states that, the injuries inflicted were homicidal in nature.
5. Although the police filed charge sheet, considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the murder, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

6. Accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
7. CRM (M) 29 of 2026 is dismissed.
