GP FOR IRRIGATION COMM AREA DEV The Court made the following: ORDER This Writ Petition has been filed questioning the action of the respondents in withholding the payment of Rs.1,70,00,000/- in respect of the works executed by the petitioner vide agreement No.38/2017-18, dated 27.10.2027. 2. Sri Balakrishna, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj, by placing on record the written instructions of the Executive Engineer, RWS&S Division, Adoni, dated 08.01.2026 submitted that as against the claim made by the petitioner, the authorities admitted to pay an amount of Rs.1,07,45,719/- and sought six (06) months time for payment of the amount. 3. Ms. Deva Sri Rohini, learned counsel for the petitioner, reported no objection for receiving the admitted amount and also for granting time as sought for by the learned Assistant Government Pleader. 4. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to pay to the petitioner the amount of Rs.1,07,45,719/- within a period of six (06) months from the date of receipt of copy of the order. The petitioner is entitled to agitate his claim for payment of interest before competent civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
