By way of this petition, the petitioner has inter alia prayed for for following relief:- “(i) Issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to forthwith adjust/transfer the Petitioner from his present place of posting, i.e., GSSS Nishoo, District Mandi, to a station in proximity to his native place, namely GSSS Gharwasra, GSSS Longni, GSSS Brang, GSSS Tihra, GSSS Parsada Hawani, or GSSS Bharari (Sajao Piplu), District Mandi, whichever post(s) may be lying vacant/falling vacant, having regard to his serious medical condition and humanitarian circumstances set out hereinabove; (ii) Issue a writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to decide the Petitioner's pending representation dated 06.05.2026 (Annexure P-4) within a time-bound period as 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? may be 7xed by this Hon'ble Court, by way of a reasoned and speaking order, after a:ording an opportunity of hearing to the Petitioner.” 2. Today, learned Additional Advocate General has handed over instructions dated 04.08.2026 issued by Secretary (Education) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, in terms whereof, the petitioner has been transferred to GSSS Gharwasra, District Mandi, HP. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in light of this statement, the grievances of the petitioner stand redressed. 4.
