Mr. Raj Negi, learned Deputy Advocate General, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents-State. 2. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that, for redressal of their grievance, petitioners have submitted representation dated 05.01.2025, copies whereof have been placed on record along with the present writ petition as Annexure P-6 (Colly.), but the aforesaid representations are 2 ( 2026:HHC:33668 ) pending consideration before the concerned Authority, respondent No. 2, i.e. Director of School Education, H.P., (earlier Director of Elementary Education, H.P.) and till date, nothing has been heard on the representation. He further submits that the petitioners shall be satisfied in case respondent No. 2, i.e. Director of School Education, H.P., who is also incharge of Elementary Education, H.P., is directed to decide the representation (Annexure P-6 Colly.) of the petitioners in a time-bound manner. 3. Learned Additional Advocate General submits that though the representations were submitted to the Director of Elementary Education, H.P., but now Director of School Education, H.P., is also Director of the Elementary Section of the Education Department, H.P., instead of Director of Elementary Education, H.P. He submits that, as on date, there is one Director of School Education, H.P., looking after the Department of Elementary as well as High Education and, therefore, representation shall now be decided by the Director of School Education, H.P., within the time granted by the Court, by taking into consideration all relevant factors applicable to the present case, in accordance with law. 3 ( 2026:HHC:33668 ) 4. In view of the above, respondent No. 2, Director of School Education, is directed to consider and decide the representations dated 05.01.2025 submitted by the petitioners, copies whereof have been placed on record along with this petition as Annexure P-6 (Colly.), by passing a speaking and reasoned order on or before 30.09.2026, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners, if so desired. The decision so passed shall be communicated to the petitioners immediately thereafter. 5. Needless to say, petitioners shall be at liberty to avail themselves of such appropriate remedy for redressal of their surviving grievance, if any, including filing afresh writ petition, as may be permissible under law. 6. The present petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
