Petitioners have filed this petition seeking following relief (s) :- 4 “10.1 That, this Hon'ble court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction directing the, respondents to grant the Petitioners the revised pay scale and Grade Pay of 5200-20200+2200 applicable to Heavy Vehicle Drivers, in place of the existing Grade Pay of 5200-20200+1900; 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to extend all consequential benefits to the Petitioners, including fixation of pay in the appropriate scale and, in respect of the retired Petitioners, revision of pension, gratuity and all other retirement benefits on the basis of the corrected pay scale; 10.3 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to consider and decide the pending representations of the Petitioners within a stipulated time frame; 10.4 Any other relief or reliefs may also be granted to the petitioners, which this Hon'ble court deems fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, with the cost of the instant petition.” 2. Learned counsel for petitioners submits that petitioners were engaged as Heavy Vehicle Driver and after completion of requisite period of service they have become entitled for revised pay scale. Though revised pay scale has been granted by other department to other similarly placed employees, however, petitioners have not been granted the said benefits. Petitioners have submitted representation vide Annexure P-5, therefore, direction be issued to respondents to consider and take decision on the representation submitted by petitioners at the earliest. 5 3. Learned State counsel submits that as petitioners are not pressing this petition on merits and only seeking a direction to consider and take decision on the representation, he is having no objection to the limited prayer made. 4. On due consideration on the submission of learned counsel for parties, the nature of grievance raised in this writ petition, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of permitting petitioners to submit fresh comprehensive representation along with all supporting documents before respondents and if such representation is submitted, the concerned authority shall consider and take decision on the same in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within further period of four months from the date of receipt of representation. 5.
