The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs. “1) That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ/writs, direction/directions, for consideration of finalization of dues of medical bills of deceased Vishwanath Haldhar within a time period as per request letters of the petitioner. 2 / 3 2) That, Any other relief which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper may also be passed in favour of the petitioner together with cost of the petition; An affidavit in support is filed herewith.” 2. Counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner is relative of the deceased Vishwanath Haldhar and is nominee in the service records, filed an application for reimbursement of the medical bills of the treatment of the deceased employee, who was working as driver in the office of Assistant Director, Horticulture Kondagaon, and died during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The medical reimbursement claim of the petitioner is not been considered and decided by the respondent authorities till date. Petitioner thereafter had also submitted written representation, which too also was not considered and therefore, this writ petition is filed. 3. Counsel for the respondent submits that he may be granted time to permitted to file reply to the writ petition. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 5. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner being a relative and nominee of the deceased employee had submitted the medical bills in a prescribed format for its reimbursement, however, till date, the claim of the petitioner for the reimbursement of the medical bills has not been considered and decided. 6. In the aforementioned facts of the case, instead of keeping this writ petition pending, seeking reply from the respondents, I find it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition at this stage, permitting the petitioner to submit a fresh representation along with application for grant of medical reimbursement before respondent No. 2 and 3, and if 3 / 3 such a representation is submitted, the concerned authority shall consider and take decision on the representation for reimbursement of the medical bills, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of four months from the date of receipt of the representation. 7.
