Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner is holding the post of Assistant Engineer and posted at Chhattisgarh Rural Road Development Agency Raipur (C.G.). Vide order dated 11.03.2026 (Annexure-P/1), he has been transferred to Bijapur. He further contended that mother of the petitioner is an old age person and is suffering from mental disease, for which, she is taking treatment at Nagpur and petitioner is the only son to take care of his mother and taking her to Nagpur for treatment. He further contended that his child is studying in Nursery class, whose exams are going to be held from 6th April, 2026 to 15th April, 2026. Petitioner has submitted representation dated 12.03.2026 before the respondent authorities, which is pending consideration, therefore, direction be issued to respondent authorities to consider and take decision on pending representation at the earliest within specified time frame. 3. Learned counsel for State submits that under the Transfer Policy, a committee is constituted to consider grievance of an employee against transfer. Petitioner has not submitted any representation before the committee constituted under the Transfer Policy. If, petitioner submits representation before the committee, then the same will be considered and decided in accordance with law. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he will submit representation before the committee constituted under the Transfer Policy. 5. On due consideration of the submission of learned counsel for the respective parties, nature of grievance raised, this writ petition is disposed of permitting petitioner to submit representation before the committee constituted under the Transfer Policy within a period of 1 week and thereafter, the concerned committee shall consider and take decision on the representation within a further period of 2 weeks. 3 6. It is further directed that till decision is taken on the representation, ‘status quo’ , as it exists today with respect to place of posting of petitioner shall be maintained by the parties. Interim order shall remain operative, subject to petitioner submitting representation within a period of 1 week. 7.
