Following order was passed in the matter on 30.07.2026: - “Notice. Mr. Y.P.S. Dhaulta, learned Additional Advocate General and Mr. Vivek Thakur, learned counsel, appear and waive service of notice on behalf of respective respondents. Let respondent No.5 to place on record instructions with respect to redressing petitioner’s grievance as according to the petitioner:- He retired from Indian Army on 31.05.2020 and got himself registered on employment exchange portal on 17.06.2020; Updated his qualification as Diploma holder in Computer Operator in year 2021 and thereafter, enrolled himself under the relevant category on the portal on 11.10.2021; Obtained another certificate in the Electrician Trade from MG ITI, Delhi, in the year 2022 and 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes 2 enrolled himself in relevant category on the portal on 07.09.2022; As per registration dated 17.10.2023, the renewal date was mentioned as June, 2026; Petitioner’s efforts for renewal of registration did not succeed as portal reflected petitioner’s registration status as dead and on the portal renewal of petitioner’s registration was reflected as September, 2025. List the matter tomorrow (i.e. 31.07.2026).” 2. Learned counsel for the respondents have placed on record a copy of office letter dated 08.07.2026, conveying that on account of certain inadvertent errors, petitioner’s registration had been reflected as ‘dead’, however the status whereof has now been restored in the ‘Live Register’. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the aforesaid office letter has redressed the grievance of the petitioner. 4. In view of above, the instant petition to stand disposed of as the grievance of the petitioner raised in this writ petition now stands redressed.
