Neutral Citation 2026:JHHC:18833 p. 1 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 5588 of 2026 Tima Turi --- --- Petitioner Versus The State of Jharkhand --- --- Opposite Party --- CORAM: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE RONGON MUKHOPADHYAY --- For the Petitioner : Mr. Santosh Kumar Soni, Adv. For the State : A.P.P. For the informant : Mr. Aditya Banerjee, Adv. --- 02/29.06.2026 Heard Mr. Santosh Kumar Soni, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned A.P.P. assisted by Mr. Aditya Banerjee, learned counsel appearing for the informant. The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected in B.A. No. 121 of 2026. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the weapon which was purportedly recovered has not been ascertained to be the murder weapon. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner is in custody since 23.01.2025. Learned A.P.P. as well as learned counsel appearing for the informant have opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the fact that the murder weapon has been recovered on the joint confession of the petitioner and Chhotelal Nayak which has already been considered on the earlier occasion and there being no fresh grounds for re- consideration of the prayer for bail of the petitioner, the same stands rejected once again. This application stands rejected. (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J.) Dated- 29th June, 2026. Preet/- Uploaded on: 01 /07/2026.
