Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs. “10.1 Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent No. 5 & 6 to step up the basic pay of the petitioner at par with his colleagues/ juniors in accordance with Rules. At the outset, learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner has already submitted representation before Respondent No. 6/ Commandant with a prayer for stepping up of the basic pay at par with his juniors, which is pending consideration and therefore direction be issued to Respondent No. 6 to take decision on representation of petitioner at the earliest within specified time frame. 3. Learned counsel for State submits that in view of limited prayer made by learned counsel for petitioner, he is having no objection. 4. On due consideration of submission made by learned counsel for respective parties, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of directing Respondent No. 6 to consider and take decision on the representation of petitioner, Annexure P-3 dated 28.02.2026, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of 02 months from the date of receipt of the order passed by this Court. 5.
