Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the applicant before the learned Family Court, Bilaspur and he filed an application under Section 13(1) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 for grant of divorce. The application is filed on 01.10.2022 and it is pending till date and the proceeding of the case is not in considerable progress, therefore, the learned Family Court may be directed to decide the case of the petitioner as early as possible within any stipulated time frame. 3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the material annexed with the writ petition. 4. From perusal of the order sheets of the learned Family Court, it reveals that the petitioner has filed an application before the learned Family Court on 01.10.2022 and the notice was ordered to be issued to the non applicant, however, for one or other reason, the notice could not be served and ultimately, the substituted service of summons was ordered to be issued against the respondent/ non applicant and after effecting substituted service of summons, the non applicant appeared for the proceeding on 19.12.2024 before the learned Family Court and sought time to file reply in the case.
