Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that suffice it would be, if a direction is given to the respondents to take a final decision on the petitioner’s pending application having Ref. No.IN/AHNR/NOC/DCOFFICE/0010/2024-2025 dated 09.07.2024 before the Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi. 3. It is grievance of the petitioner that the petitioner has established “roof top restaurant” and has applied for a liquor/Bar licence, but the said application is kept pending by the Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi on one pretext or another though the similar situated restaurant has got a licence. 4. He submits that the Division Bench now has clarified the order passed in PIL and it is expected that the respondent- Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi taking into consideration the said clarification will pass an appropriate order. He submits that there is no defect in the structure which has been constructed by the petitioner and his map is also been sanctioned by Ranchi Municipal Corporation. 5. Considering the limited prayer which the petitioner has made before this Court though he admits that there are some other prayers in this writ petition which he is not pressing at the present., I direct the Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi to take a decision on the application made by the petitioner vide Ref. No.IN/AHNR/NOC/DCOFFICE/ 0010/2024-2025 dated 09.07.2024 before the Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. It is expected that Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi will consider the judgments and orders passed in PIL and will pass an appropriate order after giving one opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and communicate the same to the petitioner. 7.
