02 /25.06.2026: No one appears for the petitioners. 2. I have gone through the petition. 3. By filing this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, the petitioners are praying for a direction to execute the order dated 30.07.1975 passed in District Hazaribag Vad Sankhya 177/70 along with 25/74 in the case of “Sodhan Manjhi vs. Md. Pholu and Others” passed by LRDC, Hazaribagh. They have also prayed Mandamus directing the respondents to grant compensation to the petitioners for non-execution of the order of competent Revenue Authority. 4. It is the grievance of the petitioners that land situated in Khata No. 23 Plot Nos.
156, 153, 91, 90, 86, 34, 40, 27, 28, 33, 200, 32, 34, 28, 200, 86, 90 Mouza Murpa Police Station Gola District Ramgarh area 13.30 acres belongs to the ancestor of the petitioners. Their Ancestor filed Land Restoration Case No. 177/70 along with 25/74 in the Court of Deputy Collector Land Reform under section 46 sub clause 4(A) of the Chota Nagpur Tenancy (CNT) Act. 5. They contended that possession of the land was illegally taken by the respondents. It is their contention that after hearing, the LRDC passed an order in favour of the petitioners’ ancestor directing the Circle Officer to remove the illegal possession of the respondents over the land in question. The aforesaid order is dated 30.07.1975. It is the grievance of the petitioners that the said order has not been acted upon. The petitioners are praying to execute the order passed by the Land Reforms Deputy Commissioner which was passed on 30.07.1975. 6. This Court exercising jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution cannot act as an Executing Court. 7. Further, I find that the order which the petitioners seeks to implement is dated 30.1.1975. For more than 50 years, these petitioners slept over the matter, as this writ petition was filed on
11.11.2025. 2026:JHHC:18772 3

Thus, on these two grounds, I am not inclined to entertain this writ petition exercising jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution. 10. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed.
